And I hate that! You invest so much time into reading only to get a piece of a story. Not sure if it's worth going on or not.
I was given a free copy of this book for an honest review.
I have been waiting for the second installment in this series, and I wasn't disappointed. The plot is developed considerably and in an original and gripping direction. The development of Sorcha was great - she is a strong female lead and her powers are pretty awesome. I really enjoyed the development of Lady Tolbert too, totally not what I expected and very intriguing. I have no idea how that storyline will turn out, but I can't wait to find out.
Great ciffhanger - lining up for book 3!
This book was awesome. It is the 2nd in the Wolfland series and once again I fell in love with the story. It was so easy to be swept back into this world of magic and werewolves. This book follows Sorcha as she bans together with the werewolves to defeat the evil Tolberts.
I absolutely love the romance and the feeling of family that you get in his book. They care for each other and it shows. I love the romance between Sorcha and Rory. They are a great power couple, so to say.
I can honestly say this book was even better than the first. I love reading a series where each new book is even better than the last. It seems to make the wait between books a little easier.
This one was filled with action from beginning to end. The end left it wide open it for another book and so I look forward to the 3rd installment in the is series....Stormi

The lore in this book is beautifully developed by the beloved characters of the first book, Bluebells and I have thoroughly enjoyed both thus far. Sorcha is a strong young woman, very loyal, and deeply compassionate of her pack. The intrigue surrounding her birth parents is fascinating and her developing powers are so exciting to experience! I must have devoured this book in just a couple of hours and I may have to read it again simply for better digestion of such a tasty morsel.
I have to say, I really liked Lady Tolbert's perspective, from her own personality and her refreshing view on Lord Tolbert and his various... excesses. I really hope to read more on her just to discover their combined history. It's also interesting to note that while witches and werewolves have terms applied to them easily, whatever the Tolberts happen to be have not been specifically mentioned, though it is simple enough to come to our own conclusions as the reader.
It's fun to wonder about which plot turn will happen next and what the foreshadowing is implying for the future of our heroes and (to some extent) anti-heroes. ON TO THE NEXT IN THE SERIES!
Keeps you in suspension of what will happen next. Makes you enjoy what life brings you. Enjoy and rwad on
